I’m spending a long mountain weekend outside Asheville, North Carolina. There are chickens and horses on the property. I had a great time down at the barn photographing the residents. (All images © Janet Hince, 2015.)

I’m surprised some of those chickens (guinea hens?) didn’t peck your lens out. Those were some close-ups!

  They are all chickens…no guineas amongst the gang. And the zoom lens made closeup shots pretty safe, as long as I paid attention to where I was stepping. Glad you enjoyed them.
