    1. I was so drawn to to that tree, and loved how despite its ancient wound it still flourished by the river, and gave welcome shade on an intensely hot day. The words to go with the image came to me while I was taking the photographs, and I’ve carried them in my heart since that day in September I was in Rennes-les-Bains.

  1. Wow Š intense, brief and Š the photo — wow! So then I went looking for the name of whose blog this is Š and can’t find it unless it’s Janet, same as took the photo. Is it?

I don’t suppose you’d consider divulging the blog’s author in the blog title somewhere?

‘Til then, I’ll enjoy the mystery!

    2. Hi DHC! Photo and blog author are one and the same, the same Janet who was in your mega-lesson in Charlotte, NC in January. I’m thrilled that you liked the post and left your comment. Thanks!
