Great photo of this beautiful rose window!
Thanks! The glass in this church is utterly amazing.
Gorgeous! Stained glass windows are always a source of amazement for me. 🙂
Me too- the extent of glass technology in the Middle Ages is astonishing. We modern folk still haven’t figured out many of the formulas used to create such brilliant colors. The interior of Ste. Chapell absolutely vibrates with color and light.
As the title says – masterpiece. Great photo.
Thanks, Matti- The photo really does not do the color and brilliance of the window justice.
What a beautiful masterpiece.
I wish you could see it in person. The photo doesn’t begin to capture the brilliance of the colors.
