The cherry tree was more beautiful this spring than ever before – I think all the rain this past winter helped it flower so exuberantly.

Incredible blossoms! So lovely!

Thank you! My tree keeps on trying to live despite advanced age and being choked by the graft union. The flowers last spring were the most beautiful ever.

We had a very wet winter, which made the flowers even more beautiful than usual. Thanks for stopping by!

What beautifully fresh blossoms are those? Like Lily, I think they are apple. I think the pink is too subtle to cherry blossoms (Sakura) but I could be wrong, of course. š

It’s a very old (55+) Sakura cherry tree. The graft union is all knotted up and so it loses more and more limbs every year. But it still manages to burst forth with these blossoms on its remaining branches.

Hi Lily- these are cherry blossoms from a 55 year old tree in my front yard. It is on it’s last legs, but it still manages to put forth beautiful flowers on its remaining branches.
