I found this little fairy tucked away in the ferns on the path to the library at Wild Acres.
And look what I found in my knitting bag last night!

Willow always thinks she’s cute, because she is. I finished the first of the purple socks, and I think they are the best yet!

I just have to comment. I love both those photos and the one of the knitty kitty is priceless. You’re cat looks so much like our beloved Frosty we lost two years ago. I showed the photo to my husband and he couldn’t believe it either. BTW, love the snow falling on your blog background. I’m hoping I will be unwrapping a knitting board so I can make those socks! Here’s hoping. Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas to you, Janet.

I am still amazed at the cat resemblance! I hope that there is a knitting board under your Christmas tree, and beautiful sock yarn as well. (My advice is to do a small sample sock to get the feel for the tension and to learn the stitches, and also try out the heel instructions, which seem unlikely to work when you read them. Just do what they tell you to do and you will have a sock heel, I promise.) Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas to you, too!

You would think that the Empress of the Known Universe would want a more lavish throne, but the knitting bag seems to suit her Majesty’s fancy. āŗ

It was so gracious of the Empress to agree to an impromptu photo session. I know how those royals can be…
