Lovely. What an exquisite shade of purple. I love the water droplets. They make the image take on a cool and soothing atmosphere. It’s funny how plants are…sometimes you think they are down for the count and they get right back up.

I nearly ripped this shrub out many times, after 15 years of no blooms. But I kept thinking “maybe next year….” And this year, it exploded in flowers. Don’t know what made the difference, but I am grateful.

Thanks! It is the first time in 16 years that this hydrangea has bloomed. Don’t know why it picked this year to show its stuff, but I am delighted that it finally did.
