Very interesting and cool photo. This summer was the first for long when we had have the opportunity to visit in London and the Olympic Games, but we did not know it in due time. My wife worked for Finnish Olympic Committee when she was young and now we are looking the Games from TV. LOL.

Thanks, Matti! The TV is as close as I am getting to the olympics as well! When you do make it to London, be sure to ride the London Eye. The view is amazing!

I wonder how many Olympic venues one can see from the top of the Eye?

Very, very cool! I seen the London Eye but didn’t have the guts to take a ride!

The compartments are so large and the wheel moves so slowly that there is very little sensation of movement. It was not at all scary, and I hate heights. The view of London just kept growing as we moved higher. The rain stopped midway through the ride, and the waning sunset light turned St. Paul’s dome golden. YOu have got to takke a ride the next time you are in London!

I have never been on the London Eye. I have stayed in the hotel directly behind it a number of times. One day I will actually get on there. Here is my image of the Eye: http://paulcahill.net/2011/11/10/the-eye/

Very cool shot! It is amazing how much of London you see from atop the Eye. You have to ride it!
