  1. Spectacular photo. I haven’t been to the Costwolds (yet) but googled it at Guiting Power. What a beautiful village (http://www.cotswolds.info/places/guiting-power.shtml). I love where you live and what you do. Music was a big part of my life too, singing in school and church choirs … until my voice split around age 13 and shattered my confidence. I do have my bodhran but the dog howls when I take a go at it – you don’t hear it much in Canada. I think I’m meant to listen and appreciate music.

    1. Hi Cheryl- Don’t give up on your voice. It can come back – mine did with coaching. My voice had completely disappeared. I went from not singing since high school to singing the Verdi Requiem last spring. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting. Janet

  2. I’m so happy to hear you have been there too. Yes, gotta love having a pub to refresh oneself before heading back. We plan to hike in the Lake District this coming spring to mark a significant birthday of mine! 🙂

  3. Oh what a lovely picture. Brings me back to when we hiked around the Cotswolds in ’07. I would go back in a heartbeat. The farmers make a path through their fields purposely for hikers. Loved it!
