A Day At The Tower

Today dawned another unexpected “bright” morning, so I hightailed it to the tube’s Jubilee and District lines to get to the Tower of London before every other London tourist got the same idea. There wasn’t even a line to see the Crown Jewels. Here’s a few shots from my day at the tower. . .

Love the Tower too…how great that you are in London. My sister did a tour of Highgate Cemetary on her last trip and really recommended it. I leave for Lapland in Sweden and then Paris later this week. Enjoy your visit!!

Have a wonderful trip! I just enjoyed photos of Finnish Lapland on a blog I read. Totally beautiful in a striking way. Say “bonjour” to Paris for me.

Wonderful shots. :-) The Shard was still under construction when I was in London last. You’ve showcased it in such an interesting way … part of London’s beauty is how it fuses the old with the new.
